You'll get to watch them in awe as they marvel over the scenic lakes and other natural wonders. You can go fishing with them, swimming, hiking or just walking along the shores. It's especially fun for them if you do activities together and let then help with small little tasks, say, packing their camping clothes. It’s a special bonding experience with the youngsters that you wouldn’t want to miss

So this spring, plan out an ultimate spring holiday with your whole family so your kids will have their chance to be in one with nature at their own pace. Here are few tried and tested tips:

Huh Wal-Mart?!

Here is a Video taken in You Tube about  motorhomes camping out in Wal-Mart parking lot. The videos shows about 28-29 motorhomes on location. This method of camping is called Blacktop Boondocking.

Basically, this is done in areas where free parking is aloud, like Wal-Mart, Truck stop, Shopping Center, Casino or your friend/relative parking lot. It's all about camping with no hook-ups. Although, Parking in Wal-Mart is welcome by the management and can save your daily expenses from RV Parks, proper etiquete is needed.

Before boondocking get the approval of the person in charge. Just because you're free parking doesn't mean taking advantage of your freedom .Hey, the least you could do is respect the management and every campers in the area. So no awnings, chairs, tables, leveling jacks and slide out please. As much as possible stay out of the drive way. The key to effective Blacktop Boondocking is to blend in. Do NOT play too loud music or television. Be wary of the your own surroundings. Stay alert and leave if you think the area is unsafe. Don't risk free parking for your own life.

Since this is a free camping, stay only for ONE night and i mean ONE SINGLE night. If were the store owner, i'll probably won't be happy seeing your vehicle in my parking lot for 5 consecutive nights. As a token of  appreciation to the management, you can purchase goods, grocery, fuel or supplies from them.

RV rentals comes with so many camping opportunities, from regular camping to RV parks, blacktop boondocking and boondocking in the boonies. Visit us at RV rentals Canada and experience RV camping.
